Stories  in  PDF Format

The idea of this course is to allow you to show your students how to use their imagination and create stories and save them in PDF format allowing them to print the stories out and show them on the computer. The grade level will determine what kind of story and length.

1.Starting your story         Example Story     Story written by a Student

    a. Determine what your short story is about.

    b. Go to google and obtain a photo or photos for your story.

    c.  Place your photos in a folder of your computer to gain access later. Open up blank word document.

    d.  Depending on the age you are writing for determines the number of photos.

    e. You must have at least one photo but not a large number, maybe 3.

    f.  Your font size should be at least 14 and Times Roman.

    g.  The length of your story should be 1 page maybe 2 pages.

    h.  Make sure your spelling and English is correct.

    i.   If you wish to continue your story with additional ideas at a later time then you should call this one Part 1.  Your name and the should be at the top of the page.

    j.  If you want you may place a border around the page.

    k.  when you are finished typing your story open up the following website.  It will allow you to copy and paste your story and read it back to you allow you to hear what other people will be reading.  TEXT TO SPEECH WEBSITE. Website.

    l. Save your story as a pdf file.  Email me your story for graduate credit.

    m.  You may show your students your story and ask them to write one also.  This will allow them to use their imagination and also improve their reading as they read each others stories.

    n.  You will discover that like the other courses on my list of Graduate courses, this is a great course for you to use in the classroom
